Throwing Tones...
There were 37 finalists invited back to perform for the Rockwall’s Got Talent competition sponsored by the Rockwall Coummunity Playhouse, but in the end it was ventriloquist Laryssa Bonacquisti (center,front) that walked away with the title for the first ever talent competition. Cole Ragsdale (top left) perfomed opera to take second place and Dennis Guillon (top right) took third. The competition was held on Friday and Saturday night at the cafetorium at Utley Middle School.

Rockwall Idol finals this Friday
The Rockwall Idol Preliminaries are now over. The annual Soroptimist WomenAid fundraiser will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m. At that time, the fourth Rockwall Idol will be named.

Tracksters win 12 medals at Norris Relays
Rockwall-Heath's Brianna Richardson captured gold in the long jump and triple jump to pace RISD track and field athletes to 12 medals at the Carl Norris Relays on Saturday at Mesquite's Hanby Stadium.
