Rockwall County — The community gathered one last time to honor Army Spc. Jerod H. Osborne following the funeral services held at Lake Pointe Church. The procession made its way down Goliad through the downtown area where the street was lined with flags. The procession brought traffic to a halt as scores of cars followed the hearse, escorted by local law enforcement as well as the Patriot Guard on motorcycles. Hundreds of residents lined the route to pay their respects to the fallen soldier and his family.
