ROCKWALL —
On Jan. 21, 2012 at approximately 1:44 p.m., The Rockwall Police Department received a call about a possible criminal offense of Improper Visual Recording at PaPa Murphy’s located in the 2400 Block of Ridge Road.
Officers received a complaint that a female employee believed she had been photographed by her manager while changing for work in the employee dressing room. Officers also contacted the victim, an 18-year-old female who corroborated the complaint received by officers. The investigation revealed that the victim had been video taped with a cell phone owned by the suspect. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Rockwall County Jail for Improper Visual Recording which is a State Jail Felony.

Local officer earns recognition for county jail program
Lt. Todd Calkins’ efforts in helping to establish the Rockwall County Jail Behavioral Health Advisory Committee is earning local and national recognition.
In November, Calkins was selected as the recipient of the National Alliance on Mental Illness-Dallas Chapter 2011 Crisis Intervention Training Excellence in Law Enforcement Award. -
