Both JP races also end in runoffs

ROCKWALL COUNTY — According to unofficial results of last night's countywide election, Jerry Hogan and Kevin Fowler will square off in a runoff to decide who will be the next County Judge in Rockwall.

Hogan led the four-man race with 2,844 votes and 33.11 percent. Fowler followed with 2,278 votes and 26.52 percent of the vote. Incumbent Chris Florance garnered 21.11 percent and former Rockwall Mayor Ken Jones took 19.26 percent.

If the unofficial results pan out there will be runoffs in both of the Justice of the Peace races. Incumbent David Karr will face off against Jack James in the Precinct 1,4 position while Precinct 2,3 incumbent Larry Holloway will face Nancy Beaty.
