HOUSTON — The Rockwall Idol Preliminaries are now over. The annual Soroptimist WomenAid fundraiser will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m. At that time, the fourth Rockwall Idol will be named. Tickets are $65.00 per person. The evening is a tribute to Pat Lovell. She was a Soroptimist and was with Community Bank for 32 years. The banquet is at the Hilton where guests will be served dinner, be entertained by the three Rockwall Idol finalists, be present for the selection of the 2010 Rockwall Idol, and be offered over 127 auction items in the silent and action packed live auction. One featured item is a wine tasting, five course dinner for five with Ralph Hall at Restaurant Ava with limousine service. For tickets or more information, call 972-722-1646.
