ROCKWALL —
A Rockwall County grand jury recently returned 12 felony indictments against nine defendants.
The names of two defendants and their indictments were not revealed in the grand jury’s June 27 report released by the Rockwall County district clerk’s office because they had not been arrested.
Following are indictments returned in 382nd District Court:
• Angela Lou Gerant, driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years old;
• Kevin Scott Pleasant, sex abuse of child continuous, victim under 14 years old, and indecency with a child sexual contact.
• Walter Forest Ross, theft of property, less than $1,500, two or more convictions, enhanced.
Following are indictments returned in 439th District Court:
• Tevin Jamal Carter, delivery of marijuana, less than one-fourth of an ounce, for remuneration in drug free zone and delivery of marijuana, more than one-fourth of an ounce and less than 5 pounds in a drug free zone.
• Melina Renee Dixon, possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram.
• Taylor Anne Lindholm, criminal mischief, more than $1,500 and less than $20,000.
• Demetrio Ray Pena, driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years old.

Summer schedule announced at Children's Museum
The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum in Commerce has announced its summer schedule.
Unless otherwise noted, admission to the programs is $5 for children and $3 for adults. Activities begin at 11 a.m. unless otherwise stated. -
