Robert George Jr.
Robert F. George Jr. was born Jan. 20, 1933, in Middletown, Ohio, to the late Floy Grace (Barlow) and Robert F. George Sr.
He died June 30, 2009, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Robert is survived by his wife, Beverly (Blake) George of Rockwall; four children, Sharon Damron, Michael George, Steve George and Jennifer Silva; a sister, Susan Hilty and husband Bob; brother Tom George and wife Sandy; his wife's four children, Kevin Blake, David Blake, Sarah Baker and Leigh Ann Archinal; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were July 6 at Holly Brook Baptist Church, Holly Lake Ranch with interment at Holly Tree Cemetery.
Beaty Funeral Home of Mineola was in charge of arrangements.
