Jack Woodard
Jack W. Woodard, 83, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, son and grandfather passed away Sept. 8, 2009.
He was born Oct. 4, 1926, in Dallas.
He loved his parents and worked hard at whatever he did; and he was strong in his faith as a Christian, knowing he was going to heaven when his time on earth was complete. Without his example, influence and love for the Lord, we as a family and friends would have missed many opportunities to learn about faith, love and salvation.
His business world included experience and was extensive as he touched over five decades in the Jack W. Woodard Company, involved in his beloved industrial machine tool industry.
Many influenced by Jack Woodard’s special abilities and talents acknowledge the indelible imprint left from his generosity, caring concern, impressionable leadership skills and gift of knowledge he shared with all. He is remembered by those who knew him best as a man of strength and integrity.
Surviving are his wife, Runell; children Kathy, Vicki and Dickson; grandchildren Christine, Blake, Brian, Kindel and Joni; great-grandchildren Austin, Brooklyn, Brayden, Avery and Mason; and a nephew, Randy Woodard.
A memorial service was held Sept. 8 at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall. He will be missed.
