Rockwall's bi-district champion baseball team placed nine players on the District 10-5A All-District Team announced by the district coaches last week.
Five Jackets were named to the first-team unit, three were selected for the second team and one received honorable mention honors.
Senior outfielder Taylor Stetzer, an Arkansas State University signee, was picked as the district's offensive player of the year. Stetzer hit .400 for the season with 28 RBIs, four home runs, nine doubles and seven stolen bases.
Junior Richard Parson and seniors Travis Lites, Scooter Merritt and Colin Elmore were all first-team selections.
Lites, who has committed to play college ball at Angelo State University, was named first-team catcher after hitting .322 for the season; second baseman Merritt earned first-team honors after posting a .347 batting average, 28 RBIs and six stolen bases; and third baseman Elmore was picked on the first unit following his season hitting percentage of .371 with two home runs, four doubles and six stolen bases.
First-team pitcher Parson, who will return for next year's campaign, ended the season with a 4-1 record, 37.1 innings pitched, 52 strikeouts and a 2.25 ERA.
Rounding out the Jackets second-team picks were senior pitcher Ty Lunday and senior outfielder Kyle Bryan. Lunday finished the season with a 4-3 record, 48.2 innings pitched, 52 strikeouts and a 2.16 ERA. Bryan closed out his final season with a .353 batting average, 25 RBIs and 10 stolen bases.
Junior first baseman Garrett Henderson was an honorable mention selection for Rockwall after booking a .422 batting average, 32 RBIs, three home runs and 12 doubles.
