Rockwall-Heath placed 11 players and Rockwall eight on the All-District 10-4A teams announced by the district coaches this week after the district's final two playoff teams, Highland Park and Newman Smith, were defeated in Class 4A regional semifinal games.
Rockwall junior Josh Broach was a unanimous first-team pick at running back, junior Kyle Crawford was named first-team tight end, junior Chris Tanner earned first-team honors at offensive line and senior Will Beasley was selected first-team wide receiver for the Jackets.
OL Jake Termin was named to the second team offense and DE Kyle Cotner and safety Spencer Edwards were picked on the second-team defense.
Earning the first-team special teams punter award was Adam Dingwell and honorable mention honors went to RB Del Myles and DL Robert Hinton.
Rockwall-Heath's Dorian Lawry was honored as sophomore of the year, Cameron Wilson earned first-team wide receiver honors and Austin Woods was selected first-team offensive lineman.
Second-team offensive picks for Heath were Kevin Rodgers at QB, Ryan Peterson at WR and Alex Young at OL. Rodgers was also selected second-team punter.
First-team defensive honors were picked up by Zach Salinas (DT), David Tanner (DE), Armando Villa (CB) and Drew Baxter (S). Justin Powers was named second-team inside linebacker.
Honorable mention picks were Tyler Harding and Jesse Irokwe on offense and Gene Rogers and Undre Bynum on defense.
